Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years in supplier quality management with QC/quality improvement experience.
• Strong knowledge of advanced semiconductor packaging and SMT assemblies.
• Experience with ISO9001, IATF16949 and VDA6.3 audits and tools.
• Hands-on use of 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone for root cause analysis.
• Excellent written and spoken English for cross-functional work.

Responsibilities

• Liaison between regional suppliers and Renesas to assure quality.
• Manage excursions and drive preventive actions and root cause resolution.
• Support change processes, site certification and supplier audits.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure compliance of power module parts.
• Support PCB assembly processes with SMT focus and related techniques.
• Identify trends, lead projects and promote continuous improvement.
• Drive best-practice initiatives and share lessons learned.
