Summary

Overall Electrical Inspection, Switching, Review Switching Procedure and key competent person (BO 33kV) for Dexcom Malaysia. Building maintenance management which including equipment (Lift, Roller Shutter & Dock Leveller system) in support of manufacturing operation.

Roles and responsibilities

• Responsible for operate, monitor and maintain (corrective, preventive & predictive maintenance) plant utilities and facilities equipment which mainly focus on Electrical which shall include MV and LV
• Attending, performing and monitoring all switching procedure Understanding and provide inputs/coaching the new electrical single line diagram or higher diagram regards to the new building or design
• Design and Development - Developing electrical systems and components, creating detailed schematics and blueprints
• Testing & Troubleshooting - Conducting tests to ensure systems meet specifications, identifying and resolving technical issues, and ensuring the quality of installations
• Project Management - Coordinating with other engineers and contractors, managing project timelines and budgets, and ensuring projects meet requirements
• Coordinate and responsible to support the equipment qualification such as walk down, punch list commissioning, IQ/OQ/PQ during startup
• Plan ahead on execution of work order from system and record job performed via Maximo/CMMS including sensor calibrations. Setting the priority on the work orders for technician to execute
• Managing a team of Building Maintenance team
• Maintenance & Repair - Addressing issues with building systems like Lift, Roller Shutter and Dock Leveller system
• Preventive Maintenance - Implementing and managing scheduled maintenance programs to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal system performance
• Project Management - Overseeing and coordinating maintenance projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation
• System Monitoring - Regularly inspecting and testing building systems to identify potential problems and ensure they are operating efficiently
• Safety Compliance - Ensuring that all maintenance and repair work adheres to relevant safety regulations and standards
• Help in coordinate vendors, OEM and others to perform routine PM activities
• Take part in continuous improvement efforts/projects
• Able to work independently, provide coaching to the peers/technicians and report all the job status to Facilities Operation Manager
• Potential require to work in shift
• Other’s responsibilities as assign by Facilities Operation Manager

Requirements

• Preferably with facilities experience with more than 5 years hands-on technical experience in Medical device plant
• MUST has BO 33kV chargeman certification with min 3 years experience
• Good in supervising and able to work together with technician
• Good knowledge in Maintenance Skills
• Good Team player and great teamwork. Able to handle multi tasks
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interact with different level people/employee in same/different organization
• Coordinate the breakdown repair
