Job summary

Trees Engineering in Malaysia seeks a Senior Supervisor, CWI to act as the company representative on the drilling rig during well Completion & Well Intervention and well testing activities. You will coordinate CWI and testing contractors, oversee safety leadership, and ensure adherence to HSE and technical standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, IWCF Level 4, and 15 years in Completions (7+ on-site), plus medical fitness for offshore work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• Minimum 15 years in Completions, with at least 7 years at well site.
• IWCF Level 4 Supervisor Certificate for Surface BOP Stack required.
• Medically fit to work offshore.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise CWI and well testing contractors and third-party service providers to meet HSE and technical standards.
• Provide overall onsite safety leadership for CWI and well testing activities.
• Safeguard company assets during CWI operations.
• Ensure wells are completed, tested, or intervened per design and program; liaise with Lead CWI Engineer on deviations.
• Provide accurate, timely reports on onsite CWI operations to Rig Superintendent, Senior DSV, and Lead CWI Engineer.
• Forecast and schedule equipment, materials, and services to optimize resources and cost.
• Record and review daily well data, circulate reports, and track non-productive time (NPT).
• Prepare quality daily work instructions for contractors for the next 24 hours.
• Oversee handover processes at the end of each CWI program.
• Ensure all work is risk assessed, Job Hazard Analyses reviewed, and Permits to Work raised as required.

Scope of work

The Senior Supervisor, CWI acts as the company representative onboard the drilling rig during well Completion & Well Intervention (CWI) and well testing activities. Responsibilities include:

• Coordination and supervision of CWI and well testing contractors and third-party service providers ensuring their work complies with KPOC HSE and technical standards.
• Overall onsite safety leadership for CWI and well testing, ensuring contractors comply with HSEMS, technical and company standards.
• Safeguarding company assets during CWI activities.
• Ensuring wells are completed, tested, or intervened as per design and program, working closely with Lead CWI Engineer on any deviations.
• Providing continuous, accurate information on onsite CWI operations to Rig Superintendent, Senior DSV, and Lead CWI Engineer.
• Forecasting and scheduling equipment, materials, and service requirements to optimize resources and cost efficiency.
• Accurate recording and timely reporting of all well data during operations, reviewing daily reports before circulation, and tracking NPT.
• Preparing quality daily written work instructions for contractors specifying work scope for the next 24 hours.
• Ensuring well handover processes are conducted according to procedures at the end of each CWI program.
• Ensuring all work is risk assessed and planned efficiently, reviewing Job Hazard Analyses with site data, and ensuring Permits to Work are raised as required.

Key requirements
