Role & Responsibilities

To carry out structural analysis of offshore structures.

1. Planning and execution of various analyses related to fixed jacket type offshore structures in concept studies, FEED, Detail engineering and re-assessment/life extension projects.
2. Analysis of ships and offshore mobile/floating related to concept studies, new builds, conversions, retrofits, pre-service assessments, life extensions, re-deployments, decommissioning etc.
3. To be well versed in design concepts of offshore structures, related design codes, engineering assessments, calculations, procedures etc.
4. The analysis shall include various assessments related to pre-service conditions, in-service conditions, fatigue, accidental conditions, life extension etc.
5. Perform first principal engineering calculations for structural design.
6. Prepare engineering analysis reports.
7. QC checks of engineering deliverables.

1. Degree in structural engineering, civil engineering, or naval architecture; Degree (Civil, Structural, Mech, Naval Arch).
2. Experience within Finite Element Modelling and analyses.
3. Experience in in place, preservice, fatigue, non-linear analyses of offshore structures in SACS software.
4. Experience in offshore hull structures/ship structures is an advantage.
