Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a site-focused Civil Engineer to assist the Project Manager on various site matters, ensuring quality and adherence to drawings. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, and a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Building is required.

Candidates should understand construction activities, be able to read civil, structural, and architectural drawings, and coordinate with subcontractors to maintain schedule and quality.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in civil engineering/building or equivalent
• Fresh graduates encouraged to apply
• Understanding of construction activities and sequencing
• Ability to read civil, structural, and architectural drawings and documents
• Monitor quality of sub-contractor works and timely completion
• AutoCAD knowledge is an added advantage
• Independent, disciplined, responsible, punctual and duty-bound

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager / Assistant Project Manager in all site matters
• Coordinate with site team on progress with minimum guidance
• Liaise with sub-contractors and consultants to ensure works follow drawings and specifications
