About the Role

We’re looking for a sharp, experienced Senior Strategic Planner to join our growing strategy team. You’ll be at the heart of shaping brand narratives, campaign direction, and driving powerful, insight-led ideas across a range of client work. Beyond external work, our planners are also internal champions of thinking — custodians of the agency’s strategic philosophy and tools, helping to embed and evolve them across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of brand and communication strategies across multiple client accounts.
  • Turn complex data, research, and market insights into compelling strategies and campaign briefs.
  • Stay on top of emerging trends, consumer behaviour shifts, and cultural conversations that can influence strategy.
  • Act as a custodian of the agency’s strategic tools, frameworks, and philosophy — helping to spearhead thinking and cultivate adoption across teams.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop powerful campaign ideas rooted in cultural and consumer truths.
  • Present strategic recommendations to internal teams and clients in a clear, confident, and persuasive manner.
  • Work with extended agency teams to ensure strategies are effectively executed and measured.
  • Support the Head of Strategy in training, mentoring, and growing the strategic planning team.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in strategic planning, brand strategy, or related roles within a creative or advertising agency.
  • Strong ability to transform data, research, and insights into actionable strategies.
  • Experienced in brand positioning, comms planning, audience segmentation, and journey mapping.
  • Excellent storytelling and communication skills — verbal and visual.
  • Experienced in pitches and new business strategy development.
  • Confident working across integrated campaigns (digital, social, traditional, experiential).
  • Collaborative team player with leadership potential and a natural curiosity for ideas and culture.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in digital and social media strategy.
  • Exposure to regional/international markets.
