Job description

Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of nursing care.

Ensure the delivery of high-standard, evidence-based nursing care for patients by assessing health-related and nursing needs of patients, their families, and carers.

Handle and administer systemic therapies safely to patients.

Provide patient and caregiver education.

Perform phlebotomy, IV cannulation, and chemo port or PICC access.

Offer drug counseling.

Maintain good communication with peers, patients, and referrers.

Perform non-clinical duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
  • Registered with the Malaysian Nursing Board.
  • Possess a valid APC.
  • At least 6 years of experience in a cancer ward or oncology daycare in a hospital.
  • Post-basic oncology qualification is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Willing to work overtime (no overnight shifts).
  • Own transport or willing to relocate near the cancer centre.

This is a full-time position, working 5.5 days per week with alternate Saturdays off. No work on Sundays or public holidays. We offer a competitive salary, perks, and benefits, along with support for ongoing professional development.
