Job summary

ams OSRAM in Malaysia is seeking a senior Wetchem Process Owner to drive end-to-end process ownership focused on quality, yield, and CpK targets. You will lead DoE-based optimization, process window studies, and CIP initiatives while ensuring compliance with 5S, Cleanroom, and Safety protocols.

The role requires advanced education in Chemistry/ Electronics/ Microelectronics or Physics with 5+ years in Wetchem, handling tools like Canon Wetbench and SVS.

Qualifications

• Lead and own Wetchem process to meet KPIs in quality, yield, damage containment, CpK and stability.
• Advance in process window studies using DoE to optimize cost and quality; lead transfers and ramp projects.
• Implement 5S, Cleanroom and Safety Protocol compliance.

Job description

• Process owner to meet KPIs defined in the Wetchem department. Experience knowledge to Wetchem tools (Canon, SVS, Suess, DNS, Tel or Scanner) is a must. Full process ownership on quality, yield, damage containment, process capability and stability, cost, CpK and other related KPIs.
• Advance in process window study using standard tools like DoE approach to optimize process in term of cost, and quality. Lead process transfer, process & tool qualification and ramp related projects.
• Lead and drive Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP) interna/externally to meet require speed/cost/quality. Ensure the compliance to 5S, Cleanroom & Safety Protocol.
• Implement & setup process FMEA, OCAP, Line of defense, FDC, SPC, Anko system.
• Generate training manual and improve Junior Engineer/ Technician technical competency.
• Support equipment team for equipment troubleshooting.

Requirements

• PHD, Master/ Degree in Chemistry/ Chemical / Electronics / Microelectronics Engineering / Physics or equivalent
• At least 5 years working experience in Wetchem (cleaning, etching, resist stripping etc). Knowledge in Wetchem tools (Wetbench, single wafer processing for etching, cleaning and resist stripping) is a must.
• Experience in leading technician
• Skilled in Wetchem process knowledge, FMEA ,DOE, 8D, SPC,FDC
• Good interpersonal skills, responsible and able to handle stress
