Job description

In your new role, you will:

  • Perform process development activities, including process parameter scouting, optimization, verification, and process freeze, in development projects to meet targets in timeline, quality, cost, and manufacturability.
  • Responsible for technical handshakes and knowledge transfer to operations.
  • Support prototype and development sample builds.
  • Generate and update relevant documents such as process specifications, PFMEA, DFMEA, OJTI, T32, and PDR.
  • Provide inputs for updating related documents, ensuring their accuracy, including process records, assembly design rules, process roadmaps, failure catalogs, control plans, and maintenance checklists.
  • Liaise with suppliers to drive continuous improvement and perform verification and qualification activities for new tooling, machines, and materials.
  • Lead technical teams and task forces using statistical and analytical tools like SPC, APC, DOE, 8D, FMEA, DFMEA.
  • Identify and develop new process technologies and enhance process capabilities to meet new business requirements.
  • Support the definition of process technology, materials, machinery, and tooling.
  • Lead critical technical topics in development projects and ensure attention within sites.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

  • Masters or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or relevant field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in the semiconductor manufacturing industry.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge in assembly processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of material science and chemical engineering.
  • Experience with analytical equipment.
  • Proficiency in statistical data analysis, including experimental design.
