Job summary

Infineon Technologies in Kulim, Kedah, invites a Senior Staff Engineer to advance product and test engineering in our R&D team. You will develop innovative test methods, optimize ATE software, and design test hardware for front-end wafer tests and back-end final tests.

You will analyze and characterize new products on test systems, drive high-parallel testing improvements, and coordinate transfers of test packages to Europe and Asia with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical and electronics engineering or comparable.
• 5 years of work experience in HV Gate driver IC or IPM, or 2+ years in Wide Bandgap test development in the semiconductor industry.
• Expertise in mixed-signal power test on Eagle ETS-88 or ETS-364 (or similar), Advantest V93k and Acco Test STS8200; C/C++ programming skills.
• Strong skills in analog or mixed-signal circuits and test program coding and debugging.
• Experience testing GaN or SiC power devices is a plus.
• Fluent English; willingness to learn German is a plus.
• Willing to work in Kulim, Kedah.

Responsibilities

• Develop testing methods including DfT and optimize test software for the ATE.

• Analyze, debug and characterize new products on the test system.
• Develop innovative solutions for high-parallel testing to improve coverage and test time.
• Transfer test packages to production sites in Europe and Asia with intercontinental travel up to 10%.
• Ensure timely transfer of engineering, reliability and production test packages to various locations.
• Collaborate closely with concept, design, verification, characterization, production and technology engineers.

Your profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• 1. Bachelor's degree in electrical andelectronics engineering orcomparable.
• 2. 5 years of working experience in high voltage Gate driver IC or intelligent power module (IPM) or 2+ years for Wide Bandgap discrete test development engineering within the semiconductor industry.
• 3. Expertise in mixed-signal power test on Eagle ETS-88 or ETS-364 (or similar),Advantest V93k and Acco Test STS8200 is preferred. C/C++programming skillsneeded.
• 4. Solid skills in analog or mixed signal electronic circuits andtest program coding and debugging.
• 5. Experience on testing of GaN or SiC powerdevices is a plus.
• 6. Fluent English skills (willingness to learn German is aplus)
• 7. Technical driving skills, results oriented behavior andstrong communication skills within global teams.
• 8. Candidate must be willing to work in Kulim, Kedah.
