Your Role
- Support project teams: Provide technical support to project teams in Singapore, assisting them in using the Infineon Design System (Flows, Design Packages, and Methodologies) for analog IPs development. Serve as the initial point of contact for any issues that arise, promptly addressing and resolving them.
- Problem‑solving and collaboration: Take ownership of support topics and proactively find solutions. Collaborate with DES teams globally and EDA tool vendors to resolve issues within the Infineon Design Systems.
- Foster effective communication and coordination with IT and the Global License Management team to ensure adequate IT resources and licenses are provided based on project needs.
- Methodology adoption and best practices: Gain a deep understanding of the design methodologies utilized within the Infineon Design System. Assist project teams in adopting these methodologies and facilitate the sharing of best practices across different business lines. Actively contribute to the knowledge base by sharing insights and experiences to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
- Methodology improvement and advocacy: Identify methodology gaps and propose quick solutions to address them. Collaborate with methodology teams to align on long‑term improvements. Demonstrate the ability to lead discussions and drive topics in the technical steering community within DES, advocating for new requirements that can enhance the overall effectiveness of the system.
Your Profile
- Qualifications: Possess a bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering with a strong foundation in analog mixed‑signal support.
- Minimum Experience: Demonstrate a minimum of 7 years of practical experience in analog design, implementation, verification, and validation, familiar with the complexities and challenges of analog mixed‑signal IP development.
- EDA Tools: Proficient in using EDA tools for transistor‑level simulation, such as Cadence Spectre or HSPICE, enabling efficient design and verification of analog circuits.
- Cadence Tools: Experience with Cadence schematic, layout editor, and LVS/DRC tools, essential for designing and validating analog mixed‑signal IPs.
- Script Programming: Exposure to scripting languages such as C and/or Perl/Python, able to automate and customize design flows and methodologies to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Computer Skills: Demonstrate proficiency in computer skills and a solid understanding of applications related to analog mixed‑signal design, enhancing tool utilization and productivity.
- Team Player and Communication Skills: Exhibit strong teamwork abilities and excellent communication skills, facilitating collaboration with project teams, EDA vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Problem‑Solving Mentality: Demonstrate a proactive problem‑solving mentality, identifying issues and providing effective solutions to address design challenges and improve overall development efficiency.
