Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Physics with VLSI exposure.
• 4–6 years in layout design; hands-on analog layout from scratch.
• Experience with IR drop and EM analysis.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple groups.

Responsibilities

• Implement physical layout based on schematics from circuit design engineers.
• Check layout with DRC/LVS tools (Calibre).
• Evaluate circuit options with design engineers to determine optimal layout.
• Perform top-level routing and connection of I/O signals while minimizing coupling and parasitics.
• Plan and coordinate sub-cell layout.
• Handle floorplanning for an IP or block.
• Involve in simple skill scripting.
