The Role

The SerDes IP support role to the Server team. The right candidate needs to have a basic understanding of SerDes architecture, equalization principle and characterization techniques. The candidate also needs to have experience in system‑level channel design, trade‑off factors for robust link performance in terms of SI/PI.

Key Requirements

• Working between the SerDes IP team and the Server product team
• Capable of running IBIS‑AMI model link‑level simulations
• Understanding PCIe specifications of different generations
• Familiarity with Matlab, C/C++ programming, Python
• Experience with lab equipment for high‑speed digital systems
• Good background of statistics and signal processing
• Good understanding of SI/PI basics for high‑speed serial links
• Having the skillset of PCB design
• Efficient in analyzing results and making decisions and recommendations
• Excellent technical communication skills (presentations and documentation)
• Team player
