Job Summary

The HR Systems Manager is responsible for the administration, governance, and continuous enhancement of the organization’s SaaS-based HR system, supporting HR processes across the employee lifecycle. This role ensures system reliability, data integrity, security, and leads system changes aligned with business needs. Additionally, the manager supports ISMS audits by ensuring compliance with information security controls and documentation. The role also oversees downstream HR applications or integrations linked to the core HR system, ensuring smooth operation and alignment with overall HR technology architecture.

Day-To-Day Activities

HR System Management & Governance
  • Serve as the superuser and SME for the SaaS HR system, ensuring optimal functionality across HR processes (payroll, talent management, etc.).
  • Lead system upgrades, patches, and enhancements with IT and vendors.
  • Develop and enforce data governance policies for accuracy, security, and compliance (e.g., GDPR, local laws).
HR Systems Liaison & Vendor Management
  • Act as the primary HR Systems liaison between HR, Finance, IT, and third-party vendors.
  • Manage service requests, SLAs, and vendor performance to ensure timely resolution.
  • Conduct training sessions for HR and end-users to maximize system adoption.
Reporting & Analytics
  • Design and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and automated reports for HR and leadership.
  • Support data-driven decision-making through workforce analytics (turnover, headcount, diversity).
Security & Compliance
  • Implement and monitor role-based access controls to protect sensitive HR data.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure system security and compliance.
  • Proactively address vulnerabilities and data breaches to mitigate risks.
Process Improvement & Change Management
  • Identify and lead system automation opportunities to streamline HR workflows.
  • Manage change requests, including testing, documentation, and communication.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, escalating when necessary.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, IT, Business Administration, or related field with 7 years in HRIS/HR systems management, preferably with SaaS platforms.
  • Proven track record in data governance, reporting, and system security.
  • Advanced proficiency in HRIS configuration, SQL, Power BI/Tableau, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes (payroll, benefits, talent management).
  • Experience with system integrations (APIs, middleware) and UAT testing.
  • Problem-solving skills to resolve complex system issues with minimal disruption.
  • Stakeholder management to balance HR, IT, and vendor priorities.
  • Attention to detail to ensure 100% data accuracy and compliance.
  • Project management skills to lead system implementations/upgrades on time and within budget.
