Job Description
In your new role you will:
- Perform incident response for security incidents across the Infineon globally.
- Monitoring of the Infineon-wide connected intrusion detection and video surveillance equipment.
- Responsible for alarm handling (verification of alarms received electronically, by telephone or verbally).
- Accountable for ensuring adequate documentation of security incidents.
- Work closely with senior experts in other functional areas to support overall department goals.
- Involve in the project as a project member of other functional areas to provide support and expertise.
- Responsible for tracking the emergency calls such as emergency call buttons board, receptions, locker rooms, elevators, handicapped toilet, and fire alarms in terms of acceptance/verification/initiation, implementation, coordination of required actions according to defined processes.
- Act as point of contact and support our local Site Security Contacts.
- Oversee and administer the external Security Control Center (SCC) contract.
- Supervise Infineon’s regional Security Control Center (SCC) as part of the global Joint Operations Center (JOC) organization.
- Directly supervise the regional Security Control Center (SCC) that responds to alarms.
- Ensure guard post orders and standing operating procedures exist and are effectively implemented.
- Create reports utilizing existing systems ad hoc and per schedule.
- Effectively coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on security incidents.
- Identify process improvements, and manage regional implementation.
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in a security-relevant profession or any equivalent academic background.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in guard force management, SCC operations & emergency operations, Security systems design, Intelligence analysis, and reporting is preferred.
- A positive attitude, strong analytic skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, with ability to present technical proposals clearly and concisely, and the ability to work with diverse teams and world-wide peers collaboratively.
- Ability of self-motivated, driven to learn and pragmatic.
- Native/bilingual or full professional proficiency in English, both in writing and speaking.
- Knowledge in Security and Security System certification like PSP, CPP, Lenel Administrator, or similar certification is preferred.
