Role

The Day-To-Day Activities

• To focus on detail design on IPRAN nationwide for both vendors region.
• To design, manage (assignment) and maintain IP planning - based connectivity for radio access networks.
• Support and meet Cyber security requirement and manage.
• Modernization and EOL - long term planning.
• Explore new technology and carry out product tests, trials, proof of concept.
• Leads to perform business case study, provides IPRAN solution to support 5G and all new services including Enterprise.
• Provide High and Low-Level Design provisioning solution for IPRAN with cost effectiveness.
• Active discussion with vendors to produce optimum and efficient architecture, best network protection, optimizing network performance, ensuring reliability & security.
• Project management on IPRAN implementation for 4G/5G integration and other services.
• Responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams mobile and Enterprise.
• Manage IP (Internet Protocol) addressing in IPRAN network in a structured manner.
• To plan, design & manage to meet the ultimate requirements of scalability and efficiency.
• Manage solution for End of Life (EOL) equipment and present in investment Committee for budget proposal.

About You
• Bachelor’s degree
• 8 years working experience, good knowledge in Transmission network Technology e.g. IP Router (L2/L3), Ethernet Switch, IP Datacom-DCN, Cyber Security Firewall, Enterprise (FTTO/ FTTH/P2P and DIA) etc.
• Guide and coach others relevant engineer on daily tasks
• Familiarity with networking protocols and tools is essential
• Good knowledge in Microwave technology is an advantage.
