Job summary

Cricut Malaysia in Kulai, Johor, is seeking a hands-on Procurement Lead to source mechanical commodities for engineering requirements and Cricut's packaging and component portfolio. You will manage tooling and parts vendors, secure supply, and drive cost optimization while aligning with the Cricut Sourcing Strategy.

The role demands 5+ years in high-volume consumer manufacturing operations, fluent English and Malay, and a proactive approach to quality, supply, and collaboration with suppliers

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in high volume consumer manufacturing operations involving relevant commodities.
• Command of mechanical procure-to-pay processes.
• Understanding of technical & commercial attributes of commodities included in portfolio.
• Languages: English fluency (written and spoken) is a must, Bahasa Malaysia a strong plus.

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Source mechanical commodities based on Cricut engineering requirements and Cricut Sourcing Strategy
  
  
  
  • Primary portfolio (core): Packaging Commodity, Such an Offset printing (GB), Corrugated box (MC), Printing Documents, Pulps, Blister, plastic tray, sticker, and label.
  
  
  • Secondary portfolio (competency expansion): Catalog parts, Die-Cut and other commodities as required by Cricut’ s product portfolio.
  
  
  
  


• Manage a portfolio of tooling and parts vendors to optimize Quality, Supply and Cost terms & conditions, including specifically.
  
  
  
  • Proactive management of supply pipeline to secure supply vs demand
  
  
  • Escalation and resolution of quality and supply issues
  
  
  • Cost avoidance for NPI parts and extraction of cost reductions on the existing MP parts
  
  
  
  


• Ensure the best pricing is achieved, this can either be through Cost break down exercise, benchmarking exercise, 3 quotes justification for managed commodities.


• Perform and validate capabilities and capacity for selected supplier to have healthy supply chain for NPI and sustaining model’s.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in high volume consumer manufacturing operations involving relevant commodities.


• Command of mechanical industry procure-to-pay processes.


• Understanding of technical & commercial attributes of commodities included in portfolio


• Languages: English fluency (written and spoken) is a must, Bahasa Malaysia a strong plus


• Travel: regional and occasional only. Visits to suppliers and manufacturers in the Johor & Singapore area shall not be considered as travel.


• Immediate start working candidates are preferrable.
