Job summary

Cricut Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a seasoned Supply Planning professional to translate demand forecasts into executable manufacturing plans. You will simulate PO quantities, monitor supplier commitments, and mitigate risks across cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities include supporting NPI, maintaining ERP data, and driving end-to-end planning improvements. Fluency in English is required, with a background in high-volume electronics manufacturing preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in an analytical discipline.
• 5+ years proven experience in supply planning or similar role.
• Experience in ERP, MRP and capacity planning.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis.
• High volume electronics manufacturing experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Be a self-starter that acts like an owner.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Translate the demand forecast into an executable manufacturing plan.
• Simulate and recommend PO quantities considering demand forecasts, inventory targets, lead times, open supply, supplier capacity and priorities.
• Monitor weekly contract-manufacturer supply commitments against purchase orders, production plans, and shipment schedules; identify gaps and recovery actions.
• Identify and elevate supply shortages, delayed shipments, excess inventory and other risks; coordinate mitigation with cross-functional teams.
• Support new-product introductions, transitions, and phase-outs by aligning supply plans with the product roadmap.
• Maintain supply-planning data in planning tools and ERP systems.
• Support the S&OP process by preparing supply inputs and highlighting risks.
• Cultivate supplier relationships and monitor KPIs.
• Analyze data to derive insights and improve supply chain performance.
• Build relationships with Demand Planning, Sourcing, Product Management and Operations teams.
• Drive improvements in end-to-end planning methods, processes and tools.

Job Description

• Translate the demand forecast into an executable manufacturing plan, considering production lead times, inventory targets, capacity, material availability, and open supply.
• Simulate and recommend PO quantities by considering demand forecasts, inventory targets, lead times, open supply, supplier capacity, product and regional priorities, and potential supply risks.
• Monitor weekly contract-manufacturer supply commitments against purchase orders, production plans, and shipment schedules; identify gaps and follow up on recovery actions.
• Identify and elevate supply shortages, delayed shipments, excess inventory, and other risks in a timely manner; coordinate mitigation plans with Demand Planning, Sourcing, Manufacturing, and Logistics teams.
• Support new-product introductions, product transitions, and phase-outs by ensuring supply plans and inventory strategies are aligned with the product roadmap.
• Maintain supply-planning data in planning tools and ERP systems, including open PO status, inventory assumptions, and supplier commitments.
• Support the S&OP process by preparing Supply inputs, highlighting supply changes and identifying risks.
• Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers monitoring KPIs, understanding their constraints and bottlenecks.
• Analyze data to derive meaningful insights and make informed decisions that optimize the supply chain performance.
• Build effective working relationships with Demand Planning, Sourcing, Product Management, and Operations teams.
• Support for improvement in ourend-to-endplanning methods, processes and tools.

• 5+ years proven experience in supply planning or similar role within supply chain management.
• Experience in ERP, MRP and capacity planning required.
