A leading company in the technology sector is seeking an IT Procurement Specialist to support global spending efforts of $50-60M. The role demands robust negotiation skills, vendor management, and a strong grasp of procurement policies. Candidates should have substantial experience in IT procurement, ideally with advanced Excel capabilities and excellent communication skills in English.
What you will do
Support global senior category manager to manage the total IT spend ($50-60M) on a global level.
Liaise with IT vendors and our (IT, HR, Factory) departments for routine and ad-hoc procurement projects to secure the best IT performance throughout the organization.
Payment term negotiation, contract, and vendor performance management.
Benchmark and formulate best-fit procurement vehicles to drive cost savings and efficiency improvement.
Measure the supplier performance and provide them with constructive feedback.
Sourcing market information, latest trends and benchmarking best practices in procurement area.
Enforce the procurement policy and ensure all purchases are fully complied with the requirement.
What you will need
At least 5 years of experience in IT procurement or sourcing.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or a related field; or a professional qualification such as CIPS.
Related sourcing category experience in MNC, IT area experience is a plus.
Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables, for effective reporting and data-driven decision making
Interest in IT technologies evolution and basic market intelligence.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English.
Proven project management experience with data driven analytical & problem-solving skills.
Flexible in adapting to changing deadlines, priorities, and requirements.
