key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based enterprise applications

• Translate business and technical requirements into high-level solution designs

• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and other engineers to ensure system consistency and design integrity

• Write well-structured, maintainable, and efficient code using Java/J2EE

• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures using Oracle

• Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely manner

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement

requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development with a focus on Java/J2EE

• Strong working knowledge of Oracle databases, including performance tuning and PL/SQL

• Hands-on experience with system design, architecture patterns, and designing for scalability and performance

• Familiarity with tools like Eclipse/IntelliJ, Maven/Gradle, Git, and Jenkins

• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, multi-tiered architecture, and microservices (a plus)

• Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC) is a strong advantage

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team

• Strong communication and documentation skills

nice to haves:

• Experience in performance optimization and load testing

• Exposure to container technologies like Docker/Kubernetes

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
