Job description

Attend to every step of the software development life cycle.

Attend to systems analysis, design, development of project, testing, implementation and support.

Attend to writing code, testing and developing software application systems.

Analyze program specifications to design systems as a Team Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

● Works with the Lead Engineer, Engineering Lead and Product Owner to deliver on key objectives.

● Contributes to solution design requirements.

● Develops code and designs software applications based on defined specifications and objectives.

● Actively contribute to engineering practices and partake in code reviews.

● Modifies existing software to correct errors or improve performance.

● Monitors and assists with software testing and validation procedures and programming.

● Working in all phases of Software development

● Interact with fellow team members on a regular basis.

● Provide technical Support to escalated issues.

● Willing to learn and adapt to any technology as required.

Requirement Skills and Qualifications:

● Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

● Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in software development before transitioning into a leadership role.

● Familiarity in Laravel, C# and NodeJS with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, and software architecture.

● Experience conducting code reviews, enforcing coding standards, and improving software quality through best practices.

● Familiarity with Azure, AWS, or GCP, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).

● Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, EC2, RDS, S3, etc.) and cloud-based solutions.

● Familiarity with relational (MySQL, MSSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) databases, including query optimization.

● Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or other Agile frameworks.

● Ability to coach teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders in Agile best practices and mindset.

● Strong communication skills to align technical teams with business objectives and bridge the gap between developers and Product Managers.

● Capable of making informed decisions, removing blockers, and ensuring smooth project execution.

● Ability to mentor developers, resolve conflicts, and foster a collaborative team culture.

● Proficient in building web and hybrid applications.

● Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.

● Proven track record in leading technical teams and managing complex software projects.

● Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines.
