Job description

Technical Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 5+ years ofexperience in software development using .Net technologies (.Net Framework/.Net) and SQL-based relational database (e.g., MS SQL)
• Experience working in Agile/SCRUM development environment
• Solid understanding of software/system design and architecture principles and best practices

Priority will be given to candidates willing to relocate within commuting distance of Kuching, Sarawak.

Accountabilities:

• Development, customization, enhancement, extension, testing, and maintenance of classic, database-driven, web-based applications
• Ensure user-friendly UI/UX according to modern standards
• Support with data migration from classic databases to modern databases
• Collaborate with client support, product owners and other developers to deliver solutions
• Apply modern development tools and methodologies to ensure code quality and consistency
• Evaluate and recommend future-proof technologies, tools, and frameworks
• Ensure code quality, version control, performance, documentation, and security best practices

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with document-oriented databases (e.g., MongoDB) and data migration
• Experience with SAP SQL Anywhere or other SAP technologies
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline
• Experience in unit testing and test automation
• Experience with C# or other equivalent Object-Oriented programming language
