Act as the local and global Application Owner (AO) for assigned Material Handling Automation (MHA) applications.
Job Description
In your new role you will:
- Serve as the technical lead for the local team, providing software technical expert consultancy to the Factory Integration (FI) team.
- Actively participate in the DevOps process for the MHA solutions.
- Act as the local and global Application Owner (AO) for assigned Material Handling Automation (MHA) applications.
- Represent the local site as a software technical advisor on MHA topics, collaborating closely with the global team in Europe and the Asia-Pacific regions.
- Lead and guide smaller project teams to ensure efficient project execution and delivery.
- Translate user requirements into tailored MHA software solutions.
- Gather User Requirements for new user request/enhancement of MHA solutions, drive the implementation, testing, and rollout to production.
- Actively contribute to knowledge sharing across both local and global teams, fostering continuous improvement.
- Implement new features into existing applications and develop innovative automation software solutions, adhering to approved technologies and Infineon’s FI architectural guidelines.
- Conduct Automation Capability Management (TOS/ACM) testing and engage in technical negotiations with equipment vendors.
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer/Software Engineering, or a related Engineering field (such as Electrical, Electronic, Microelectronics, or Semiconductor Technology).
- Proven experience in factory automation solution design, semiconductor manufacturing processes, and systems.
- Strong project management background with expertise in application development within Manufacturing IT systems.
- Hands-on experience with semiconductor automation, including material handling, Material Control Systems (MCS), material identification, and storage systems.
- Advanced knowledge of semiconductor equipment integration, with familiarity in SEMI Standards and SECS/GEM protocols.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive mindset for supporting production environments, with a commitment to a zero-defect approach.
- Solid understanding of existing automation solutions and their applications.
