Fresh Grad QA Engineer (Manufacturing-Oil & Energy)

Location: Perai, Penang

Working days & hours: Mon-Fri

Job Responsibilities

• Working with operating staff to ensure procedures and standards and needed for the QMS are established, implemented and assure ongoing compliance.
• Plan, conduct and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality. Keep records of quality reports, statistical reviews and relevant documentation.
• Liaise with the notified body / ExCB responsible for the assessment of the quality system with respect to intended updating of the quality system.
• Determining, negotiating and agreeing on in-house quality procedures, standards and specifications. Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements (ISO/PED/ATEX/IECEx).
• Monitor and arrange for preventive maintenance activities. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system.
• Develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions through investigation of customer complaints and non-conformance issues.
• To perform other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities that may be needed or assigned by superior from time to time.
• Promote ISO 9001, other relevant quality, product standard and certification maintained by Company.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Science in Quality Management or related field.
• Able to understand English, BM and Mandarin.
