Job summary

Food Market Hub is seeking a senior Flutter lead to guide a mobile engineering team in Petaling Jaya. You will ensure scalable Flutter applications, translate designs into polished UI code, and participate in technical planning to address dependencies.

The role requires strong Flutter expertise and a proven track record in delivering high-quality mobile apps. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in mobile development, 3+ years leading a Flutter team, and solid experience with CI/CD pipelines and API

• 2+ years leading an Agile mobile team.
• 3+ years solid Flutter experience.

• Experience setting up and managing CI/CD for mobile.

Job description

Responsibilities include:

• Lead a team of mobile engineer
• Participate actively in technical planning meetings to ensure technical dependencies are discussed and addressed
• Ensure the team design and build highly scalable and maintainable Flutter apps
• Ensure the team translate wireframes and design mockups into the high quality UI Code

Job Requirements:

• A self-starter that proactively proposes for and makes improvements on engineering quality and delivery
• High level of attention to details on both UI/UX and codes
• 2+ years of experience leading an Agile mobile team
• 3+ years of solid working experience with Flutter
• 5+ years on mobile app development in general
• Git and experience in collaborative work with Git
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD process for mobile
• Engineering minded and code for long term maintainability

Optional skills as added advantage:

• Experience in building custom packages in Flutter using the functionalities and APIs already available in native Android and IOS.
• Involvement in open source projects
