The Role:

• Provide solutions and guidance for complex programming challenges.
• Design and document applications and databases based on user and business requirements.
• Analyze and develop test scenarios and cases aligned with business and technical needs.
• Conduct feasibility studies for strategic IT solutions.
• Apply enterprise architecture principles in application and database design and development.
• Provide 24/7 production support on a rotation basis.
• Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory compliance, emerging threats, and technologies to understand risks and enhance safeguards.
• Identify potential concerns or risks and share best practices in risk management.
• Perform other related responsibilities as needed.

The Person:

• Hold a recognized degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems.
• Preferably have 4+ years of experience in the Life/General insurance industry.
• Experience in building insurance systems is advantageous.
• Strong expertise in PL/SQL, Weblogic 12c, Oracle Reports 12c, and Oracle Forms 12c.
• Proficient in UNIX shell scripting.
• Experienced in performance tuning of PL/SQL and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Java technologies is preferred.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Software Engineering.
• Ability to work independently, with attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Capable of producing high-quality work under pressure.
• High integrity, accountable, positive attitude towards teamwork.
• Proactive in improving processes and adaptable to change.
