Job summary

Centre of Technology & Innovation (CTI) in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Software Developer or Senior Software Developer to coordinate projects and oversee transitions from development to deployment. The role emphasizes delivering timely solutions and ensuring accurate data delivery for end-users within a user-centric, DevOps-driven environment.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in CS/IT/Software Engineering, strong SQL and NoSQL experience, and familiarity with reporting tools to support stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Software Engineering or equivalent level of studies.
• Good in SQL with experience in both SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with any Reporting tool is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates projects and system development tasks that include the design phase, integration process and formal testing.
• Oversees all transitions from development stage to product deployment.
• Ensures relevant documentation is prepared and shared with relevant stakeholders.
• Delivers solutions in a timely manner.
• Ensures the accuracy and completeness of data/system delivered to end-user.
• Improves user satisfaction amongst students and staff using technology and innovation.
• Ensures innovative technical solutions are designed and continuously improved in a user-centric manner using DevOps practices.
