Job description

Job Responsibilities

1. Ensure smooth progress of the project through close liaison and coordination with sub-contractors, carpentry, and relevant authorities. Responsible for installation arrangements, control of renovation, and interior design-related works.
2. Study the drawings and engage in a preliminary discussion and briefing with the designer before commencing work.
3. Conduct a kick-off meeting with the subcontractor/designer prior to on-site work.
4. Plan work schedules and monitor the work of sub-contractors.
5. Involve in ordering materials, arranging workers' schedules, and logistics. Supervise progress at the site to ensure timely project completion.
6. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports and updates with the designer and management.
7. Attend meetings as required.
8. Coordinate with all relevant departments and work as part of a team.
9. Handle project correspondence and documentation.
10. Address site issues or problems and ensure smooth project handover.
11. Manage defect works and handle multiple sub-trades simultaneously.

Job Requirements

1. Possess a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
2. Have 2-5 years of experience in the construction, interior, and fit-out/renovation industry or related fields.
3. Be proactive, responsible, hardworking, reliable, and able to work independently or with minimal supervision.
4. Willing to work outstation and during night hours when needed.
5. Possess strong carpentry skills and understanding of architectural and interior design construction methods and sequence.
6. Knowledge about material application and ability to study drawings including 2D and 3D perspectives, layout plans, and detailed drawings.
7. Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
8. Self-initiated, proactive, and committed.
