To oversee and coordinate import & export activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective shipping operations with minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. End-to-End Shipment Coordination: Manage import/export timelines, ensuring on-time container haulage to avoid demurrage/detention charges.
2. Problem Resolution: Investigate shipment discrepancies (customs delays, HS code changes, duty adjustments), implement corrective actions, and manage claims.
3. Cost Efficiency: Negotiate competitive freight/transport rates and calculate accurate landed costs for imports.
4. Compliance & Documentation: Secure import permits, validate shipping documents, and ensure marine insurance coverage. Support sales, finance, and customers with document retrieval.
5. Reporting & Analysis: Generate performance reports (shipment tracking, GR discrepancies) to optimize logistics processes.

Perform any other duties as required by the immediate superior or management.

Job requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in shipping/logistics, preferably in FMCG or food trading.
• In-depth knowledge of import/export regulations (Malaysia/ASEAN markets) and incoterms.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power BI a plus).
• Language proficiency: Fluent English (written/spoken). Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
