Job summary

A leading technology-based company in Malaysia is seeking an Assembly Technician to perform assembly operations and ensure quality in production. The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma in Engineering, have at least 5 years in machinery manufacturing, and possess strong troubleshooting skills. This role includes responsibilities such as machine setup and documentation. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in machine manufacturing or automation.
• Proficiency in English is preferred.
• Candidates available to start immediately are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly process operation as instructed by production manager.
• Carry out process checking and record results whenever required.
• Document pneumatic diagrams and perform machine I/O Tests independently.

a)Perform assembly process operation as instructed by production manager.

b)Carry out process checking and records result （whenever required）.

c)Comply with working rules and procedures and maintain good housekeeping at all times.

d)Cooperate and commit with team to achieve assembly plans and quality of assembled products.

e)Report any equipment or process malfunction to the project leader.

f) Update BOM List and ETL of project daily.

g)Provide machine set-up, training and buy-off at customer’s site.

h)Develop machine User Manual.

i) Willing to perform shift duties in time of urgency or whenever need arises.

j) Perform machine electrical and pneumatic wiring with minimum assistance.

k)Document pneumatic diagrams.

l) Perform machine I/O Test independently.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/ Mechatronic /Electromechanical) or equivalent.

• At least 5Year(s) of working experience in machine manufacturing field/ automation line.
• Required Technical Skill(s): Troubleshooting, problem solving.
• Required Documentation Skills(s): Microsoft Office, Outlook
• Proficiency in English are preferred.
• Candidate who are able to commit and start work immediately are preferred.
