Job summary

A leading engineering company in Malaysia is seeking a technician to engage with customers for maintenance arrangements and perform servicing on air compressor systems. The ideal candidate should have a Higher Nitec in Mechanical Servicing or Electrical Engineering, with 1-2 years of experience. Skills in troubleshooting and good communication are essential, along with a Class 3 driving license. The role may require work during weekends and off-normal hours.

Qualifications

• 1 - 2 years working experience in mechanical servicing or electrical with troubleshooting skills.
• Capable of working independently in a machine room environment.
• Class 3 driving license required.

Responsibilities

• Liaise and communicate with customers regarding maintenance arrangements.
• Perform startup and commissioning of air compressor systems.
• Conduct maintenance activities during off-normal hours as required.

Job description

Technical Skills

• Liaise and communicate with customer of maintenance arrangement
• Meeting customer for maintenance contract proposal
• Support on site co-ordination & assessment for air system
• Perform startup and commission of air compressor system
• Perform air compressor system maintenance & overhaul
• Perform air compressor system troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical faults

Requirements

• Higher Nitec in Mechanical Servicing / Electrical Engineering.
• With 1 - 2 years working experiences in Mechanical servicing / Electrical with troubleshooting skill.
• Able to work independently, self-motivated, in a machine room environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Perform maintenance activities during off-normal working hours/weekends as and when required.
• Class 3 driving license required so that the selected candidate can drive the company’s vehicle for tasks at clients’ premises.
