Job summary

Micron Technology Malaysia, Batu Kawan, is seeking a hands-on technician to troubleshoot and service electro-mechanical equipment used in our semiconductor manufacturing lines. The role emphasizes problem solving, preventive maintenance, and collaboration with engineers.

You'll dismantle, repair, and reassemble equipment according to blueprints and manuals, perform checkouts with test gear, participate in equipment buyoff, and help sustain uptime during ramp-up and production.

Qualifications

• Diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering is required.
• 1+ year experience in manufacturing or SEM equipment is encouraged.
• Knowledge of semiconductor testing equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment in manufacturing.
• Dismantle, adjust, repair and assemble equipment per plans and manuals.
• Use test/diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
• Rebuild manufacturing equipment; may modify as directed by engineers.
• Ensure test equipment transfer, setup, buyoff, and ramp-up support.
• Maintain equipment uptime and perform scheduled PMs.
