Job summary

Flex is seeking a Security Manager based in Batu Kawan, Penang to lead the site’s security program, assess risks, protect personnel and assets, and ensure compliance with company and government standards.

You will oversee physical security, risk assessments, investigations, incident response, budget planning, and coordination with Legal and HR, delivering protective services and driving resilience across operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of security or related area.
• Demonstrates strong communication and customer relationship skills.
• Knowledge of Flex business is a plus; understands strategic impact across sites.
• Thorough knowledge of related security systems and software.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure in complex situations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute security programs (physical security, asset control, supply chain security, travel security, executive protection, information security).
• Manage security programs for assigned sites; publish threat assessments and conduct security surveys.
• Develop and maintain security processes, policies to mitigate risks and limit exposure.
• Investigate incidents including burglary, theft, crimes against persons/property, and abuse.
• Collaborate with Legal and HR on due diligence; coordinate with law enforcement and customer security providers.
• Manage fraud, waste, and abuse reporting; analyze risk intelligence.
• Lead site crisis management and resiliency programs; communicate policies to site teams.
• Oversee counter-terrorism and counter-espionage programs.
• Support marketing by planning protection for customer visits; supervise security staff.
• Prepare and manage site security budget and forecasting.
