Job summary

Pan Asia Software Solutions invites a seasoned Security Operations (SecOps) professional for an immediate opening in Kuala Lumpur. The role requires hands-on cloud and network security expertise, incident response, and threat mitigation with a minimum of five years of relevant experience.

You will deploy and maintain security controls (firewalls, EDR, WAF), monitor for anomalies, and coordinate remediation to meet SLA requirements. Azure cert and CISSP/CISM/Security+ preferred.

Qualifications

• Azure security certification is required.
• CISSP, CISM or Security+ with at least five years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain security infrastructure such as firewalls, EDR, WAF, and DDoS protection.
• Monitor traffic patterns and implement alarms for anomaly detection.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to expedite security incident resolution and ensure SLA compliance.
• Provide 24x7 security incident monitoring and auto-remediation where possible.
• Incorporate disaster recovery and backups integrity into security pillars.
• Perform OS-level and container scanning for EC2/EKS/ECS environments.
