Job description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Scrum Master to lead our cybersecurity teams in delivering top-notch solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Agile methodologies, particularly in a cybersecurity context, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within scope while fostering an environment of continuous improvement.

What You'll Do:
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives for multiple cybersecurity agile teams.
Partner with Product Owners and Engineering Leads to ensure backlog is well-groomed, prioritized, and aligned with business objectives.
Track team performance using Agile metrics like velocity, burn-down charts, and cumulative flow diagrams to drive continuous improvement.
Remove impediments to team progress and shield the team from external distractions.
Guide and mentor team members on Agile best practices and continuous delivery.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Security Analysts, DevSecOps, Compliance, etc.) for end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity initiatives.
Ensure timely delivery of security features, vulnerability remediation, threat modeling, and security compliance projects.
Act as a servant leader and Agile coach to the team, promoting a culture of trust, transparency, and accountability.
Support organizational Agile transformation initiatives in the cybersecurity domain.
Required Qualifications:
8–10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years as a Scrum Master.
Prior experience working in Cybersecurity or Information Security projects is mandatory.
Strong understanding of Agile and SAFe frameworks; experience with Kanban or Lean is a plus.
Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I or II); SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) is preferred.
Familiarity with cybersecurity domains such as threat intelligence, incident response, identity & access management (IAM), vulnerability management, etc.
Experience working with tools like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, etc.
Strong communication, conflict-resolution, and facilitation skills.
Ability to manage multiple teams and workstreams in a fast-paced, secure environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).
Technical background or working experience in security tools or platforms.
Agile coaching certification (ICP-ACC, SAFe SPC) is a plus
