About the Role

The role involves overseeing the sales department, ensuring compliance with regulations, and mentoring staff to achieve sales objectives and personal growth.

Responsibilities

• Enforces Sales Department rules and regulation in collaboration with all HOD’s
• Represent the department in all matters related to Sales at the top level of Sunway Lagoon and Sunway Lost World Waterpark Management
• Mentor line managers and assist in career and personal growth specific to job functions
• Understand the requirements on the Employee Handbook and lead by example
• Establish and maintain effective employee relations
• Maintain the highest standards of business professionalism, ethics and attitude towards all theme park guests, clients and staff
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies
• Setting and monitoring sales objectives
• Providing sales strategies and feedback to achieve budget given
• Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary
• The ongoing training of your salespeople
• To prospect and grow an account list, handling incoming leads and closing sales
• Perform related duties / special projects assigned timely and efficiently

Qualifications

• Proven track record in sales in area of coverage
• Language required(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin. Additional language is an advantage

• Has the ability to demonstrate great oral and written communication skills as well as supervisory skills
• Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
• Proficient in MS Office, relational basic internet
• Able to work and blend in a fast paced and changing market environment
• Able to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficiently
• Ability to work under stress and resolve conflicts

Preferred Skills

• Experience in a similar role within the theme park or hospitality industry is a plus.
