What you will do?

As a Sales Engineer at JCI, you will be responsible for driving sales of our innovative Fire Control Security solutions to both new and existing customers. Your role will include understanding customer needs, developing tailored solutions, and effectively communicating and presenting these solutions to stakeholders. You will work closely with the sales team to convert leads into opportunities, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to sales targets.

How you will do it?

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, leveraging strong technical knowledge of CFS systems.
  • Conduct site visits and audits to assess customer requirements and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals, demonstrating the value of JCI’s offerings.
  • Utilize CRM software to track interactions and sales progress, maintaining accurate records and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to ensure the feasibility and compliance of proposed solutions.
  • Develop long-term relationships with customers, providing support and addressing any concerns to foster loyalty.
  • Regularly report on sales activities and performance, adjusting strategies based on market trends and customer feedback.

What we look for:

  • More than 5 years of experience in sales or marketing positions in direct selling for CFS solutions in the construction/building market.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in sales and distribution development, preferably in CFS at the construction market with an existing customer base.
  • Ability to forecast pricing, quotations, and budgeting.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, analytical, and relationship management skills.
  • Proactive team player with problem-solving spirits.
  • Proficiency in English (written and oral).
  • Computer literate (MS-Excel, MS-Word; CAD is an advantage).
  • Possessing a car would be an advantage.
