Job summary

Michael Page is partnering with a leading international provider of industrial technology to appoint a sales professional in Kuala Lumpur. You will drive sales of plastic recycling equipment and manage a high-value pipeline with key stakeholders.

You will lead meetings, demonstrations, and proposals, collaborating with engineering teams. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business and 3–5 years of B2B industrial sales are required; strong English and willingness to travel regionally and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of B2B sales in industrial, machinery, engineering, manufacturing, or recycling sectors.
• Experience in plastic recycling technologies, washing lines, pelletizing systems, sorting equipment, or related solutions is advantageous.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong English communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales of industrial equipment and solutions within the plastic recycling industry.
• Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities across targeted market segments.
• Conduct customer meetings, presentations, product demonstrations, and solution proposals.
• Analyze customer requirements and formulate tailored technical and commercial solutions.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and support contract negotiations.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and update CRM records regularly.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
• Develop and execute sales plans based on market intelligence and customer needs.
• Build long-term relationships with customers, industry stakeholders, and decision-makers.
• Attend industry exhibitions, seminars, conferences, and networking events locally and internationally.
• Collaborate closely with technical, engineering, and support teams to deliver successful customer outcomes.
