Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Senior Sales Executive-Engineering in Kuala Lumpur to identify new clients, grow the customer base, and maximize regional sales opportunities. You will manage existing customers, understand needs, and recommend products based on quality, price, and delivery.

The role requires at least 4 years of relevant experience, a diploma or degree, and proficiency in MS Office. Travel and a vehicle are required; strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in presentations, costing, and quotation preparation is preferred.
• Possess own vehicle and willing to travel outstations as necessary.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude.
• Willing to take on challenges and stay updated with market trends and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new clients and maximize sales opportunities within the assigned region.
• Manage existing customers and build long-term client relationships.
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products based on quality, price and delivery.
• Handle tender and contract negotiations to meet client and company requirements.
• Achieve sales targets and coordinate sales projects.
• Follow up on customer payments (debtor aging), PO and stock aging.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth project/order delivery.
• Ensure compliance with requirements from authorities including Customs, MIDA and MPKJ.
