We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales Executive/ Assistant Sales Manager to lead and execute sales initiatives in the agriculture sector. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, building strong client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to delivering impactful sales activities and achieving company objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

  1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities.
  3. Conduct market research to identify customer needs, trends, and competition.
  4. Present and promote the company’s products/services to existing and potential clients.
  5. Address client needs and concerns promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  6. Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports for management.
  7. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient delivery of solutions.
  8. Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of products.
  9. Attend industry events, trade shows, and meetings to represent the company and network with stakeholders.
  10. Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical practices, and regulatory requirements.
  11. Implement and maintain best practices in sales processes and operations.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  1. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of six (6) years of experience in sales, preferably in the agriculture industry.
  3. Exposure to the ASEAN and China markets is not a requirement, but it will be considered an added advantage.
  4. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  5. Strong knowledge of agricultural products, technologies, or services.
  6. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  8. Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
