As Sales Manager - Industrial and Cosmetics (Malaysia/Singapore), you are part of the exciting team and covering both Malaysia and Singapore for Industrial and Cosmetics portfolios,supporting the acquisition of the Surface Solutions business by GNMI.
What You Do
- Drive sales growth and achieve revenue objectives by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities for Industrial & Cosmetic segment in Malaysia/Singapore.
- Strategically manage global and local accounts to maximize profitability and ensure alignment with customer needs.
- Proactively build a healthy opportunity pipeline through robust opportunity tracking and monthly reviews.
- Develop and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with key customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Regional Marketing, Innovation Lab, and Business Development teams to drive high-value projects and co-create solutions with leading brands.
- Ensure impactful communication with customers to convey value propositions effectively.
- Conduct customer profiling, segmentation, and categorization to tailor solutions and prioritize growth opportunities.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and product performance to identify growth opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
- Gather and incorporate customer feedback to enhance satisfaction and strengthen partnerships.
- Forecast demand and supply to optimize inventory levels and ensure seamless customer delivery.
- Ensure timely management of receivables and adherence to financial targets.
- Accurately maintain and report sales activities through Salesforce.com or equivalent CRM tools.
- Foster teamwork, transparency, and collaboration across internal teams to deliver superior customer experiences.
- Act as a liaison between customers and internal functions, including supply chain, finance, and principals, to ensure smooth operations.
- Inspire a goal-oriented, competitive mindset within the team to achieve shared objectives.
- Lead pull marketing initiatives to create demand and elevate brand visibility in collaboration with regional and local marketing teams.
- Partner with R&D and technical teams to introduce innovative, high-value solutions tailored to customer needs.
Who You Are
- Masters or bachelor’s in engineering/technology & Business Administration
- 4-5 years relevant sales experience
- Proven track record in sales and customer development within the Industrial & cosmetics or related industry in the region.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage market data for decision-making.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce.com) and sales reporting.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions and drive results in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
