Gates Corporation is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to drive Automotive Power Transmission replacement sales in Malaysia and Singapore. You will build distributor networks, run campaigns, and train partners to expand coverage in the aftermarket.

The role requires strong commercial acumen, industry tenure, and the ability to source opportunities, negotiate effectively, and manage CRM data to ensure predictable growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is required or equivalent.
• Proven sales growth track record in automotive aftermarket or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in automotive aftermarket sales in assigned countries.

Responsibilities

• Lead Automotive PT Replacement sales through distributors, wholesalers, and workshops in Malaysia & Singapore.
• Develop channel programs, sell-in/sell-out campaigns, and promotional activities to drive demand.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and quarterly business reviews.
• Collaborate with application engineers on technical discussions and distributor training.
• Represent Gates at industry events to strengthen brand visibility and relationships.
