We are seeking an exceptional individual responsible for achieving sales goals and leading our team of sales engineers. Responsibilities include setting up a sales pipeline, evaluating the effectiveness of personal sales strategies, and staying updated with the latest industry trends.
The Challenges
- Develop new customer leads and achieve sales targets to increase market share within the country.
- Learn and articulate product knowledge independently to ensure productive business output.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of product lines, sales philosophy, and company policies.
- Monitor market trends and competitors, adjusting efforts to meet or exceed budgeted results.
- Prepare weekly sales activity reports, follow up with strategic action plans, and provide feedback on competitor activities.
- Research competitors' products, pricing, and success to understand customer preferences.
- Develop innovative sales strategies to meet sales goals.
- Oversee internal sales administration and monitor rental fleet activities and condition.
- Present our full range of products to potential and existing customers to evaluate needs and promote solutions.
- Coordinate sales efforts with marketing activities, events, and webinars.
- Prepare and negotiate contracts and terms of business with prospective clients.
- Maintain client records in CRM (Salesforce) for reporting and quotations.
- Process sales contracts, purchase orders, and deposits as required.
- Follow up on monthly collections and dues from customers.
- Address client questions regarding credit terms, products, prices, and availability.
- Coordinate with Service Operation Team, sub-contractors, and customers to ensure equipment is inspected, recorded, and maintained until lease end.
- Respond to customer inquiries and emergencies related to rental services, resolving issues professionally to maintain loyalty.
- Expand industry knowledge through workshops and professional publications.
What It Takes
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, economics, engineering, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of machinery, especially engine and electric motor-driven equipment.
- Experience in rental equipment for industrial use.
- Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and suppliers.
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with internet and online resources.
- Effective selling practices and techniques, including cold calling potential customers.
