Senior Sales Engineer

About the role

Join the dynamic team at ADAS HIGHTEX SDN. BHD. as a Senior Sales Engineer. In this full-time role based in Seelong Johor, you will play a key part in driving the company's growth and success by providing sales and technical support to clients across the region.

What you'll be doing

Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and responding to RFPs and tenders

Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to closing deals, including presenting product and service solutions, negotiating contracts, and ensuring seamless delivery

Provide technical expertise and guidance to client to help them find the best solutions for their needs

Collaborate closely with the engineering and operations teams to ensure smooth project implementation and customer value creation.

Maintain detailed records of all sales activities and prepare comprehensive weekly reports.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and new product developments.

What we're looking for

8+ years of experience in a similar sales engineering or technical sales role, preferably within the steel construction industry

Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets

Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand and explain complex products and solutions

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Good problem-solving skills and a proactive, customer-focused approach

Degree in Engineering and Sales, or a related field
