Are you an expert in rotating equipment with a passion for reliability, safety, and performance in offshore operations?

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer to join our Field Operations department at TotalEnergies EP Malaysia, supporting operations across all company assets in Malaysia. This key role ensures the safe and efficient operation of critical rotating equipment through strategic maintenance, regulatory compliance, and performance optimization.

Activities

Your Impact

As a key member of the Maintenance team, you will:

  • Develop and implement structured maintenance programs (PPM, RCM, CBM) for rotating equipment.
  • Lead troubleshooting and technical resolution of equipment issues to minimize downtime.
  • Manage SAP-CMMS data, including job cards, failure codes, and historical logs.
  • Prepare and monitor Work Program & Budget (OPEX and Production CAPEX).
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies (PPGUA, DOSH, OSRMS) and support audit readiness.
  • Oversee major rotating equipment contracts and vendor performance.
  • Track and report KPIs such as uptime, MTTR, MTBF, and budget adherence.
  • Mentor team members and support succession planning.
  • Compile monthly and quarterly reports with actionable insights and data visualization.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives including shutdown planning and engineering studies.
Candidate Profile

What We Are Looking For

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science from a recognized university.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in maintenance engineering.
  • Proven experience in PAC operations.
  • Strong knowledge of rotating equipment maintenance strategies and CMMS systems.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
