Linde ROC Sdn Bhd in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia is seeking a Senior ROC Engineer to lead remote operations from the Remote Operations Center, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient performance across multiple plants.

You will apply your process control knowledge to optimize plant operations, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement APCS tuning, MOC, and critical start‑up/shutdown activities while collaborating with regional teams and stakeholders.

Qualificações

• 5–7 years of industrial gas plant operations experience is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering from a recognized university.
• Fluent in English with excellent written communication skills.
• Experience with DCS, APCS and process control systems is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient remote operation of multiple process plants from the Remote Operations Center.
• Leverage process control expertise to optimize performance and troubleshoot complex issues; support startup, shutdown, thawing, and cooldown activities.

Making an impact. What will you do?

• In this role, you will ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient remote operation of multiple process plants from Linde's Remote Operations Center, while driving operational excellence across the region
• Furthermore, you will leverage your expertise in process control systems and plant operations to optimize performance, troubleshoot complex operational issues, and support critical startup, shutdown, thawing, and cooldown activities
• Process optimization and continuous improvement are key aspects of your role, including analyzing plant performance, enhancing operational reliability, and supporting the successful deployment of advanced process control technologies
• Additionally, you will develop and review operating procedures, maintain accurate operational documentation, and initiate Management of Change (MOC) processes to ensure safe and effective implementation of technical improvements
• You will also provide technical leadership in APCS tuning and performance enhancement, support commissioning activities, and collaborate closely with site and regional teams to drive safety, reliability, and operational excellence

Winning in your role. Do you have what it takes?

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering from a recognized university
• You have five to seven (5-7) years of industrial gas plant operations experience, with hands-on plant operations experience being essential
• Fluent in spoken English with excellent written communication skills
• You have strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• Experience with DCS, APCS, and process control systems is an advantage
