Job summary

Dyson seeks a Senior System Solution Test Engineer to drive end-to-end system verification for world-class robotic products. You will validate navigation, AI features, OTA updates, and ecosystem integrations across hardware, software, cloud, and mobile components.

You will collaborate with software, hardware, and AI teams to craft scalable test strategies, automate tests, and ensure release readiness in a dynamic, global engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Mechatronics, or related discipline.
• Strong experience in system testing, verification, validation, or quality engineering for complex products.
• Experience with robotics, embedded systems, IoT, connected products, or consumer electronics.
• Good understanding of system integration, defect management, and release-quality processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and global engineering environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead system-level verification and validation activities for robotic products.
• Develop and execute test strategies covering functionality, reliability, performance, robustness, and customer experience.
• Validate navigation, mapping, obstacle avoidance, docking, charging, cleaning performance, OTA software updates, connectivity, and ecosystem integrations.
• Execute laboratory, simulation, and real-world testing to ensure products perform reliably in diverse environments.
• Test AI-powered capabilities including computer vision, object detection, hazard recognition, autonomous decision-making, voice control, and natural language interactions.
