Job summary

Responsibilities

• Lead system-level verification and validation activities for robotic products.
• Develop and execute test strategies covering functionality, reliability, performance, robustness, and customer experience.
• Validate navigation, mapping, obstacle avoidance, docking, charging, cleaning performance, OTA software updates, connectivity, and ecosystem integrations.
• Execute laboratory, simulation, and real-world testing to ensure products perform reliably in diverse customer environments.
• Design validation methods for machine learning-based features and intelligent robotic behaviors.
• Evaluate AI performance, accuracy, robustness, and edge-case scenarios using structured test methodologies.
• Design and deploy AI-powered test solutions to improve test coverage, execution efficiency, and defect detection.
• Collaborate with software, data, and AI teams to build scalable, data-driven quality solutions and advanced test automation capabilities.
• Partner with software, electronics, systems, AI, cloud, mobile application, and product teams to identify risks early and improve product quality.
• Drive defect investigation, root cause analysis, and verification of corrective actions.
• Provide objective quality assessments and evidence-based recommendations for release readiness decisions.
• Expand automation coverage through simulation, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), regression, endurance, and fault-injection testing.
• Improve test efficiency, repeatability, and scalability through innovative engineering solutions.
• Contribute to best practices, reusable test frameworks, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Working across hardware, software, AI, cloud, connectivity, and mobile applications, you will influence product quality from concept through launch and beyond. The role also supports the organization's growing focus on robotic product quality and system stability testing.

What You'll Do

• Lead system-level verification and validation activities for robotic products.
• Develop and execute test strategies covering functionality, reliability, performance, robustness, and customer experience.
• Validate navigation, mapping, obstacle avoidance, docking, charging, cleaning performance, OTA software updates, connectivity, and ecosystem integrations.

Validate AI and Intelligent Product Features

• Test AI-powered capabilities including computer vision, object detection, hazard recognition, autonomous decision-making, voice control, and natural language interactions.
• Design validation methods for machine learning-based features and intelligent robotic behaviors.
• Evaluate AI performance, accuracy, robustness, and edge-case scenarios using structured test methodologies.

Drive AI-Powered Test Innovation

• Design and deploy AI-powered test solutions to improve test coverage, execution efficiency, and defect detection.
• Leverage AI and machine learning technologies to accelerate test case generation, test data creation, log analysis, defect triaging, and quality insights.
• Develop intelligent testing approaches for robotic products, mobile applications, cloud services, and connected ecosystems.
• Evaluate emerging AI testing tools and technologies to improve engineering productivity and quality outcomes.
• Collaborate with software, data, and AI teams to build scalable, data-driven quality solutions and advanced test automation capabilities.

Collaborate Across Engineering Teams

• Partner with software, electronics, systems, AI, cloud, mobile application, and product teams to identify risks early and improve product quality.

What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications

• Python, automation frameworks, simulation platforms, or Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments.
• Mobile applications, cloud ecosystems, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Matter, or smart-home technologies.

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience applying AI or Generative AI technologies to software testing and quality engineering.
• Experience with AI-assisted test automation, test generation, defect prediction, or quality analytics solutions.
• Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, or intelligent automation platforms.
• Experience developing scalable test frameworks using AI, machine learning, or data analytics technologies.
