Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer Analog Layout to drive RF layout efforts for cutting-edge semiconductor solutions. You will work closely with RF circuit designers to optimize layouts, perform top-level verification, and lead cross-functional execution from floorplanning to final validation.

The role requires a strong foundation in RF/analog layout in submicron CMOS, hands-on tool experience with Cadence Virtuoso-VXL and Multicaliber, and a track record of mentoring

Qualifications

• RF/analog layout from scratch with CMOS tech understanding.
• IR drop/EM analysis and parasitic reduction know-how.
• Experience with high-performance RF TX/RX and PLL subsystems.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with RF designers to iterate layouts for performance.
• Perform layout and verification using Cadence Virtuoso-VXL and Multicaliber.
• Lead floorplanning, routing, and layout verification for RF blocks.
• Co-lead RF layout design with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct layout design reviews with internal and external stakeholdes.
• Plan project schedule and allocate tasks to team members.
• Guide juniors to ensure on-time delivery and quality.
