Job Responsibilities

Planning
To assist effectively and efficiently in achieving the sales targets set.
To ensure actions are taken in all promotional plans.
To provide constructive ideas for increasing revenue.
To make recommendations for slow-moving merchandise.
To assist in scheduling the duties of junior staff.

Routine / Daily on Sales Floor
To assist in conducting daily briefings on sales achievements, budgets, product launches, and promotions.
To ensure all POP signage are requested with correct information and that stock is displayed well with correct pricing.

Team Guidance and Supervision
Daily routine and weekly housekeeping.
Personal grooming of staff.
To check and follow up on goods with expiry dates (Health & Beauty / Food).
To ensure valuable merchandise is secured with sensor tags, especially in the garment department.
To maintain visual merchandise standards according to MujiGram.
To ensure instructions are carried out according to the weekly action plan.
To ensure work areas adhere to safety standards.
To guide staff in abiding by store rules and regulations.

Cashier Handling
To ensure effective and efficient cashiering procedures.
To check and ensure the accuracy of the daily cash float.
To handle deposit reconciliation and deposit deliveries to the bank through Cisco’s system.

Customer Service
To handle customer queries, feedback, and complaints.
To create a pleasant shopping atmosphere.
To motivate junior staff to greet customers proactively.

Inventory Control and Ordering
To report faulty or broken merchandise.
To ensure daily replenishment.
To provide stock listing reports to department in charge to ensure stock display.
To monitor stock levels and verify transfers.
To ensure stock is properly displayed and maintained in good condition.
To monitor fast and slow-moving stock.
To verify correct receipt of stock quantities and report discrepancies or damages.
To ensure stock is sold on a first-in-first-out basis.

Staff Training
Coordinate sales training.
Conduct on-the-job training (OJT) for new hires according to the 5-day training checklist.

Teamwork
Promote good rapport, team spirit, and effective communication.

Reports
Prepare weekly action plans and assist with any required reports.

Others
Perform any other duties assigned by the Retail Supervisor or Store Manager.

Job Requirements
